Description:

In this first episode of Joy Class, I want to share what joy looks like for me in this season of my life. As a business owner, wife, and mom of three young kids, I can so deeply relate to how busy life can get and how easy it is for your self-care, your fun, your play, and your lightness to slip on the back burner.

In this episode, I get really honest about how in the Spring of 2022, I felt burnt out by a combination of pandemic life, politics, and raising little kids while keeping my business, my marriage, and my health afloat. I decided that if I was going to really create and lead the life I wanted to have, I needed to prioritize my joy. And I discovered so much!!! I cannot wait to share it all with you in this episode.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:

Joy is the key ingredient for our well-being, relationships, and creativity.

But what is joy? For many, joy seems like the rare feeling on a perfect Saturday afternoon when there’s no work to be done. Or, if you’re like me, like a reward that you have to earn.

I can't tell you how many people I've worked with over the years were almost chronically waiting for joy to come to them. They hoped that if they followed all the rules and worked really hard, joy would magically reveal itself as their reward.

The truth is, real joy is the fuel that keeps you going. Far from a random high, it supports you in achieving your goals while keeping you connected and aligned with yourself.

Leading a life with joy at its center is not a one-time choice; it’s a lifestyle. And while some changes in your life do need massive intervention, becoming more joyful is not one of them.

Let's pull joy in together!
