Self Quest: What is asking for RENEWAL?

Today I am writing to you from North Carolina. My kids are on spring break, so my husband and I decided to take us on a roadtrip to visit family down here.

There is something about being on the road, being in movement, seeing one kind of landscape disappear and another appear that always has me pondering:

What am I leaving behind? What do I long to invite next?

What feels stale, finished or complete in my life that I want to release? And, where am I drawn to, what do I want to learn and understand better, what do I want to make space for?

To me these questions feel like “inner spring-cleaning.”

Out with the old to make space for the new.

Feng Shui talks a lot about these principles by highlighting the importance of addressing clutter in your home space and making sure that your surfaces are tidy so that new energy can come in easily.

Feng Shui is rich in practices that intentionally create empty space to support the manifestation of something new. For example, you can leave a drawer in your office empty to make space for something new to come into the career area of your life. I just love feng shui… subtle but so powerful

To sum it up: if we want to call in or manifest something new, we have to make space in our lives first.

With today's self-quest question, I want to help you gain clarity on what area of your life is asking for fresh energy.

Let's dive in:

Here are ways to further explore this week's theme of renewal:

  • What are you being called to release so that you can rise into the next version of yourself?

  • What parts of your life –how or what you've been doing– no longer fits who you are today?

  • What old roles, habits and beliefs are you outgrowing?

  • What is naturally coming to a close, making space for something new?

You can take this week's question and simply reflect on it on your own, you can use it as a journal prompt (very powerful ), or you can go on a walk with friends and discuss it in a group (builds connection ).

Here's to soft beginnings, fresh starts, and being authentically expressed in the stages of your own evolution

with love as always,

Caroline
