Self Quest Thursday: What do you wish you could let go?

We all hold on to things…

→ beliefs about ourselves that are keeping us small
→ habits and patterns that feel familiar but aren’t serving our overall vision of who we want to be
→ people or situations that aren’t in alignment with our truth
→ memories that we replay in our mind’s eye allowing hurt to live on

The truth is that it’s difficult to let things go completely.

It’s hard to change our own beliefs, to shift patterns, to set boundaries with people or situations that simply don’t work, to sooth painful memories.

None of this is easy work, BUT it’s very worthwhile work.

Carrying extra emotional weight on our shoulders only leads to a heavier, blocked, and weighed down life.

Think

  • more anxiety and stress

  • less focus and concentration

  • overthinking and clouded thoughts

  • shame and self-doubt

  • repeating cycles that keep us stuck in pain and dissatisfaction

My point is that cleaning our inner house and letting go of things, thoughts and behaviors that don’t serve us is crucial if you want to feel light, clear, focused, and genuinely confident in your life.

That’s why this week’s Self Quest question is:

What do you wish you could let go of?

It all starts with awareness, positive intention and your belief in yourself.

As I said last week you can take this question and simply reflect on it on your own, you can use it as a journal prompt (very powerful ✍️), or you can go on a walk with friends and discuss it in a group (so fun 👯‍♀️).

BONUS: Once you’ve identified what you wish you could let go of, ask yourself: How can I start to let go of _____?

love,

Caroline
